Sharing from my heart!

Not sure how to begin this, but I just want to share some things. Not to glorify myself at all, but to glorify my Creator, my Savior, my Rock, my Heavenly Father. I have been struggling with many things lately. A lot of it has been with all that we are going through at this time. The houses, our living situation, and just other things. I have been struggling with things on the inside as well. God has just been showing me so much lately. I am learning that everything in life is a choice. Why wouldn't it be that way, when God says to us you choose life or death! How powerful is that! I choose life! I choose to serve God all mighty! Each day we have choices. We make the choice in how we treat people, our attitude about situations and so forth. God is willing to help us, but we cast the deciding vote. I choose to live a life worthy of my Creator. I choose to be a blessing. I choose to surrender all control to God and choose to recieve all He has for my life. Will I stumble, will I have moments of my flesh, yeah you bet I will I am human! Thank you Lord for your unconditional love and forgiveness. Each day I choose to serve the Lord and renew my mind I am becoming more like Christ. I am so thankful that God is teaching me these things. He is teaching me that its more about the "shape" my heart is in then what all I can do. That its my relationship with Him, not my works! God's desire for us is to have a relationship with Him. Its my heart! Its my everything that He so desires! He desires that with everyone of His children. For us to be so passionately in love with Him that if we didn't have a single thing we wouldn't even notice b/c God is all we need! Wow! I know growing up there are so many stories in the bible of great men and women and I just thought how "perfect" they were b/c God took care of them. Now that I am older and are going back over those same stories I am learning new things. They were all sinners like me. They called up on the Lord and He saved them. Yes, they still messed up but it was b/c of their relationship and the shape of their heart that God still took great care of them. David, was a man after God's own heart! That man messed up a lot, but God never left Him or forsaked Him. I know now what He did for David He will do for me, you, and anyone else who calls out to Him. Each day God is just revealing more of His love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness to me. How simple, its all because of a choice! I am growing daily in my relationship with God and I want my life to be my praise to my Heavenly Father!

I am currently reading the book Sunset and Sushi by David Crowder- He is the lead singer from David Crowder Band- The book is excellent! He is quite a character and it shows in his book! What he is sharing about praise and what God wants it to be is incredible!

I hope you all have a blessed day! I hope that this can be an encouragement to you as well. To know that serving God isn't a chore, a set of rituals, or anything else, but a relationship! Its a choice! Once you understand what all God has done just for you, you will want that relationship with Him! Because God loves you more than anything else or more than anyone else could ever love you! I just get so excited just knowing what all my God has done for me just to have a relationship with me. He knew me before there was time. He formed me in my mother's womb. He has a plan for my life! He sent His ONLY son to die on the cross for me! He raised him up again and Jesus fulfilled EVERYTHING just so I could have an eternity with my creator! He did the same for you! He knows how many hairs I have on my head! He knows my thoughts and my desires! He knows when I will mess up but He is there to catch me and raise me up again! He knows everything about me and still loves me for who I am! I hope you all know that as well! God has a plan for your life. That its never too late to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. There is NOTHING that His forgiveness and uncoditional can't cover! So I just pray that all of you that read this have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and if you don't that you will cry out to God and ask for forgiveness and for Him to become your personal Lord and Savior! There is nothing more precious or life changing then when you make that decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ! Blessings and remember GOD LOVES YOU!

Pictures Part 3!

This is the last set! There are quite a few. These are the girls taking a bath! Jaycee loved all of the bubbles! The girls coloring some Easter eggs. Then the actual Easter Egg Hunt for Jaycee and Jackson! It was lots of fun. This was our first year of hunting eggs. Jaycee was a little upset that she had to wait in the house until the eggs were hidden. Once she got out there she had a blast! Jackson just was loving that he could roam wherever he wanted! He didn't care to find any eggs! Enjoy!

PIctures Part 2!

These pictures are from Jackson's John Deere Bday party, Jackson's boo-boo from falling off the bed, and Keely and Jackson's birthday! Crazy that 2 sisters would have babies on the same day 8 yrs apart!

Pictures! Part 1

Okay, I am back in business with downloading and uploading pictures! So I have got 171 pictures resized for publishing! I won't share them all! They are from Nana and Papa's trip, Jackson's John Deere Party, Jackson's Birthday, Kiley and Keely's Spring Break, and Easter. So I am sure I will have several posts! Thanks so much for your patience! I hope you all enjoy! (Especially you, Aunt Ann!)

Happy Birthday, Jackson Alan Lohrer!

Wow! Its hard to believe that one year ago Jackson was born. Its so amazing how time goes by so quickly these days. What a blessing he has been in one year to our family. He is such a sweet precious little boy! He is full life and is so healthy! We thank God everyday for both of our children. I can't even describe how wonderful this past year has been. Even though its been tough on us with moving and all the decisions at hand, I am very honored to be Jaycee and Jackson's mother. I couldn't imagine being anything else. This is what God has called me to do at this point. What a privilege it is to train these 2 blessings to be mighty followers of Jesus Christ. Thank you for all of your prayers for our family and children. We are truly blessed with a great family and friends.

So Jackson a year old today. He walks great! He is beginning to climb up on things. Nothing too high, but he wants to do more of that now. He still loves his mommy very much. His other favorites are Daddy, Papa (my dad), and Pa (my grandpa). He would go to work with them everyday if they would let him. He loves outside. He loves the dogs, horse, and cows around here. He is working on his moo sound. We think he can say Scoo (Scooby). He has quite the temper when he doesn't get his way. He falls to the ground and likes to roll around. Once he gets down on the ground, he usually changes to being happy and does silly stuff. He does what we like to call foot fire. He chops his feet really fast. That is pretty darn cute. He is a good eater. I have yet to find anything that he won't eat. He loves ice cream! Oh, other names he goes by are Bubby and JackBoy!

Sorry for the delay in pictures. I have been trying. Dad's laptop hasn't been available for a while and that is where I usually download my pictures. Mom's PC doesn't have the same picture software so downsizing pictures to go on here is a little time consuming. Its not that I don't want to share I justdon't have a lot of time.

Rt.3 Box 129N Duncan, OK 73533

Yes, that will be our new physical and mailing address in a few weeks! No we haven't sold our house in Nooksack, but we are still believing any day it will sell. We are trusting God and we know that He is a faithful God. We have to do something. We are ready to have a place of our own. My parents have been extremely wonderful, but I think we are all in need of our own space. The couple we are buying from just really want to know the house is sold. Which we totally understand. The house we are buying is such a great deal. The owners now are still getting calls to see if it is really sold. In Velma, there aren't options! There is nothing available. The couple are building a metal shop at their new house. So the materials for the shop are suppose to arrive on April 3rd. It takes 3 days to build the shop so we could possibly be moving in by April the 8th or so! We can't wait! We are so excited to have a place or our own! Can't wait to show you all pictures of our new place!

Jackson's Birthday Party!

Jackson had a John Deere party! Everything was great, except for the birthday boy! The poor little guy was cutting some teeth. So he was not a happy camper. We were able to get him to sit by his gifts and play with them for a few moments. We got some pictures of him with the cake, but that was about it! We all had a lot of fun. It was great to have the family there celebrating our little guy. I can't believe in 6 days he will be 1 yr. old! That is so crazy! So sorry that I haven't gotten pictures added. I really do hope to do that soon. The weather has been so nice here its been hard for us to stay indoors!

I will finish out the time we had with Nana and Papa. After Jackson's birthday party, Byron and Andy headed to Oklahoma City to watch the State Championship games in basketball. It was a nice and relaxing evening for Marilee and I. Jackson was pretty grumpy, but he did sleep a lot. Both kids actually had really great naps. This might have been my favorite day while they were here. Marilee and I had great conversation and drank our coffee. I really miss my mom-in-law. We have good talks on the phone, but nothing beats talking face to face.(Laughing and crying together) Sunday we didn't make it to church b/c I just didn't think Jackson would make it. By that afternoon he was doing a little better so we went into Duncan to shop and to play at some parks. We went to a park first. We were there for a while and then we had to make a few shopping stops. For Jaycee to leave the park happy we told her we would stop at another park before we went home. Well, by the time we made 3 stores and had Braum's milkshakes I think all of us were ready to head home. Not Jaycee, the girl that has an amazing memory, she looked at me and said another park. Byron was throwing away our trash and when he came back Jaycee said another park daddy its not dark yet! So we were like okay we have to keep our word. So going out the door Jaycee is saying I do I really really do want to go to another park. So we stopped at a park on our way home. She had tons of fun. Byron told her she had 2 more slides and then it was time to go. So she did one slide and then decided that she wanted to swing. So she swung for a VERY long time. Daddy never mentioned not swinging! So its so cute to watch how her little mind works! Its amazing at times! So Monday we headed for the Chuck Wagon for lunch, once again no one tried the Sooner Tailpipe. (Phil, I think you are the only brave one in the family) Monday evening we just hung out around here, had pizza, and finished off Jackson's birthday cake with ice cream. Tuesday we got up and headed to Oklahoma City. We ate at Chili's (one of my favs) and went to Gordman's. Which has now become one of Marilee's favorite places to shop! Its the best! So all of you in the Northwest need to start pushing to get one! Maybe you don't need to do that. If we are the only one's that have it then it is a MUST stop when Nana and Papa come to visit. So that means I get to shop as well! Well, I think that has wrapped up our time with the family. I really will try to get some pictures up. I know Aunt Ann is really wanting to see them!

Heavy Hearts!

We are all a little sad around here without our Nana and Papa! We had such a wonderful time with them. It was hard to say good-bye at the airport. We are so thankful that they were able to come and spend that time with us. We had a blast. Jaycee was very sad that they were gone. She heard an airplane that evening Nana and Papa left and said it was Nana and Papa. Yesterday, when we were making beds she said are you getting ready for Nana and Papa to come up and see us? (They stayed at my grandparents' house.) I said no sweetie they are back in Washington with Trail.

So its been a little rough on all of us including Scooby and Zoe. They got some great Nana and Papa love! We are already excited about the next time they visit us!

I will post later about all the rest of Nana and Papa's visit and Jackson's 1st birthday. Hopefully, I will get pictures with it!

While I have a few moments...

We are LOVING our time with Nana and Papa. The weather hasn't been as nice as we would like, but its not been terrible.

Here is a recap of our time thus far. Monday was actually a nice relaxing day. We knew that Nana and Papa would be a little tired from their very long drive. So we hung out here at the house and had lunch with my parents. We had one of my favorite meals beef brisket, cheesy scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole and cornbread! I can hear all of your stomachs growling right now, b/c mine is doing it as well! That evening we went to Velma and showed them our house. (That hopefully we will be in soon.) We had dinner at the Chuck Wagon.(No Phil no one ordered a Sooner Tailpipe) Tuesday, we headed to Ardmore to do a little shopping. We got Jackson's 1 yr pictures developed. We bought the frame and matte to have everyone sign for his 1st birthday. We had lunch at Braum's. Its a lot like Dairy Queen. Then we came home. That afternoon we played outside and took Scooby and Zoe for walks. The dogs are loved right now, b/c they have their Nana and Papa's attention. That night we went to Byron's basketball game. Wednesday we went into Duncan to order Jackson's John Deere birthday cake. That night we went to church. Thursday we headed up to Oklahoma City. We bought all of Jackson's birthday party supplies, shopped at Mardel's christian bookstore, and showed them around. They were quite amazed as to how cheap living is around the OKC area. Just to let you know 1 acre lots were selling for $45K. The houses in the neighorbood were no less than 2500 sqft. These houses were selling for just under $300K. After we did that we headed to some basketball games. It is State Tournament time and so we had to let them see how things are here. We saw some great players and pretty good games. Jaycee was wonderful all day. She had lots of fun with some new toys and also that her cousins were there. Jackson didn't do so well. Poor little guy is cutting some teeth. He was just miserable. He was so tired and just wouldn't go to sleep. So needless to say the ride home wasn't great either! For today, the guys went back to the State Tournament and us girls went and did the food shopping for Jackson's birthday party. We picked up his cake as well. We came home made up the food that we could tonight, decorated for the party, and hung out. We hope that by morning Jackson will be feeling much better. It won't be a lot of fun tomorrow if our birthday boy is all grumpy! We should have lots of pictures to post in the next few days! Enjoy the weekend!

They've arrived!

Nana and Papa are finally here! YAY! They arrived around 7:00 last night. They called when they were pulling in the drive way. Jaycee went running outside to see them. She ran to her Nana and Papa came around and you could see Jaycee trying to make her arm avaiable to him so he could twist it off. Jackson went to Papa. I loved watching Jaycee. She was so happy to see them. She sat in Nana's lap for a while just hugging and laughing with her.

So we are so glad that they are here. We have lots of fun things to do. Just wanted to let you all know they arrived safely! Right after they got here we had some thunderstorms. We got much needed rain! YAY!

One more sleep!

YAY! We have one more sleep until Nana and Papa arrive. We are so excited. They stayed in Vegas for a couple of days! They had a wonderful time! So we hope this could be a possible place for the family to meet and spend time together in the future!

We are pecking away at all the chores that we need to have done for their arrival. So today will be a pretty busy day. We will finish up the house, wash clothes, wash dog stuff and wash the dogs! (They are going to love that!)

Yesterday, was quite exciting. We had some fires. The fires were about 7 miles from my parents' house. The fires were actually very close to some of my dad's oil wells. The house we thought about renting from the older lady, my dad and the firemen saved her house and barns! I would have been really terrified if we were living there! They got it under control. It was a little crazy around here for a while!

Not much else is happening. I am sure this next week I will have lots of stories. Hopefully, I will be able to post and share with you what we are doing, but it might not go that way! I am sure we will be having lots of fun with Nana and Papa! I know I will have lots of pictures to share. Also, we are having Jackson's birthday party next Sat. so we can have both grandparents for his birthday. That is so awesome! We have yet to have that with the kids! YAY!
