Jaycee turned 2 1/2 yrs old on Saturday Nov. 24, 2007. Which begins the wonderful half birthday celebration with Dad. Byron's dad began the tradition with his boys. Taking them on their half birthdays out for a meal. Just a way of showing them how special they are and to have some one on one time. So Byron thought this would be the perfect time to start the tradition. So they got up Saturday morning and headed to Lynden. Jaycee loves pancakes so Byron took her for breakfast at Someplace Else (that is the name of the restaurant). She loved it! She kept telling Byron, Thanks Dad! I love you, Dad. Then when she was done with her meal she rubbed Byron's back while he finished his. After that, they went to the Family Christian Bookstore. Jaycee came home with 2 new Veggietale movies, The Minnesota Cuke and Sheerluck Holmes. They also got the Veggietales Nativity Playset! Both of them had a great time! I am so thankful to Andy for starting this wonderful tradition! Its the best! I hope one day the kids will pass it along to theirs!

OH, Dayna...this entry (and the picture of By and Jaycee) really choked me up! What an incredible legacy you are making with your children. This "investment" in your kids will return 20-fold. Keep up the great work and may God's richest blessing continue to pour over you all.
