Recap of the last few days!

Well, New Years Eve Byron and I went to church and they had a small group get together. It was earlier that night. After we were done then the church had a lock-in for the youth. So we were at home and in bed by 10:30. Boring I know, but with kids that get up so early its a must. New Years Day was spent around my parents house just watching football. Yesterday, Jaycee and I went to Super Wal-Mart! (I LOVE SUPER WAL-MART) So it was fun to just have a little time with Jaycee. Last night we went to church and then headed over to Pastor Jerry and Deania's house to watch the OU/West Virginia football game. Which for us it was not such a good night! The fellowship with friends and eating of food made it a little more enjoyable!

Jaycee and Jackson are over their colds now! YAY! That was such a miserable time for us all. So they are adjusting to life at Mam-Mam and PaPa's house! So, yes we are living with my parents! We are truly thankful that they are allowing us to do this. There just aren't really any other options. It has been very frustrating and exhausting at times. We really thought that we would be over in the Sulphur area where our church is located. For Byron to work with my dad that really isn't even an option. Which we totally understand. At the same time, its a little disappointing. We have looked into everything possible to rent and there isn't anything available. As for buying, there isn't anything out there to buy! The 2 story home in Velma that I had blogged about was a true heartbreaker. The people that bought it a 1yr. and half ago have completely trashed it! They are asking a lot for it and it would cost a fortune to get it the way we would want it! Also, we really don't want 2 mortages at this point. Byron has also put his resume out there to see if there is anything out there. Maybe so we wouldn't have to live in Loco/Velma area. We haven't heard anything yet. So just pray for us. We totally want to make the right decision and be led by God. We are just ready to have a house and get settled with our kids and dogs! We still know that God wants us in Oklahoma it just hasn't gone the way WE had planned! God's ways are higher than our ways and so are His thoughts and plans for our lives! I am so grateful that we do serve God and that we can find rest in Him. I couldn't imagine not having the hope that we do in God about our situations. We know that God cares for us and that He is for us not against us! That His plan is best for our lives! So we will continue to believe and trust in the promises of God and know that He will see us through it all!
