Randomness!

I haven't posted in a while so I thought since I had a moment I would give a quick update! Well, for starters Nana and Papa are here! WOOHOO! They arrived Thursday afternoon and will be her til November 10th. So we are enjoying that! Byron and Andy are going to NASCAR tomorrow at Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth, TX! Nana, the kids, and I are going SHOPPING! It will be a great day for all of us and we will be all exhausted by the end of the day.

We went to the Velma-Alma Comets football game last night. We left at halftime because the score was 49-0. Great game let me tell you. It was fun to show Nana & Papa what Velma is like. So in a few years when Jaycee and Jackson are telling them stories they will know exactly what they are talking about.

Other news this week, my parents' horse Miss Molly gave birth to a colt! It was born on Oct. 28th. He is beautiful! They didn't even know until a month ago that she was pregnant. They bought her in May. They went riding one day and could hardly get her saddle on her. Dad knew she was getting big and had her and Tuffy (dad's horse) fenced off from one of the pastures. She continued to eat and eat! So he came to the conclusion that she is pregnant. She was pregnant when they bought her but no one knew. So he got 2 horses for the price of one! Not a bad deal at all, since now we get to watch the little colt grow up! No name yet, but WE are leaning towards Dusty. Dad is trying to push Jethro, but I have already told him that is forbidden to name anything! Dusty goes well with Miss Molly and Tuffy right? I do have pictures and will post when I have the chance. Also, we will see him today so hopefully I can get even better ones. Miss Molly is allowing him to come up to people now!
