25 Days of Christmas-Day 1

YAY, December is finally here! I have been preparing for this time for quite some time. I am so excited for 25 Days of Christmas in the Lohrer house. Thank you, Amanda DeHoog, for recommending the website www.hubbardscupboard.org. Last night Jaycee and I made our 25 day countdown chain. On each link there is a scripture, a passage from the bible or a title of a book, and then an activity for the day!

Today's verse was Isaiah 7:14- Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. We read this verse along with Isaiah 9:6-7. Our activity today was setting up our Nativity Scene, all 3 of them. It was lots of fun to talk with Jaycee and Jackson about each person and to explain to them why Jesus came to us.

Hopefully, I will be able to post daily, but not promising anything. Byron's parents arrive on Friday so we will be quite busy with our Nana and Papa. I will most certainly try my best, though!!!!
