So Far Behind!!!

I figured this would happen! Realistically, I knew there wasn't a chance I could post daily about our 25 days of Christmas!!! We are still enjoying each day of our readings and activities!!! We are having a great time with our Nana and Papa. We really want time to freeze while they are here. We have missed them so much! My heart already aches for when we have to say good-bye to them next week!!! Please forgive me for not posting, but I am soaking up every minute we spend with our Nana and Papa. I have been given the best in-laws ever!!! God truly went far above anything I could have ever asked for when I was praying for many years for my husband and in-laws! My kids have been given AWESOME grandparents!!! We are so very blessed!!!

I will give you a brief update of our activities. Nana and Papa arrived Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, I didn't check the flight arrival time until we had already left for the airport. I discovered that they were arriving 20 minutes ahead of what I had in my mind! Oops!!! The kids had made signs to welcome Nana and Papa at the airport. Even though the kids didn't get to hold them up in the airport they did greet Nana and Papa in the car with them!!! We went to the Bass Pro Shop and then to dinner. On Saturday, the kids, Nana, and I went to Duncan,OK for a little shopping and then to the Christmas Parade. It was cold, but we had lots of fun and got lots of candy!!! Sunday, was church! It was a great service and I am proud to announce that Jackson finally made it in his class for the WHOLE service!!! WOOHOO!!! After church we went to Lawton, OK and lunch at Lone Star Steakhouse. Monday, we baked goodies and prepared our Christmas Dinner. That evening we had our Christmas Dinner and celebrated Christmas with Nana and Papa. Yesterday, we spent most of the day painting our living room/kitchen area! Well, Nana and Papa did the painting! Our house looks marvelous now! We went from all white walls to colors of orange, tan, and chocolate!!! EVERYTHING looks great now!!! We have been busy, but its been loads of fun!!! This weekend we are headed down to Ft. Worth, TX to do some fun activities! Next week I will post pictures of everything!!!!
