Passion!!!

I am a passionate person. It may not always show, but I am. I love my family dearly! Byron and my kids are my prize possession. For most of you, you weren't ever able to watch me play the game of basketball! I LOVE basketball! My emotions were always seen! I did try my best not to let the negative emotions come out, but I was always in on the high fives, the fist pumping, and the cheers!!! I gave it my all! I left everything on the court! Well, times have changed! First, I am passionate about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I can't go through a day without tears coming to my eyes over what He did to give me eternal life. Second, I am passionate about my husband and kids. The well-being of them is my life. I want the best for them all! Thirdly, I am passionate about restoring the U.S. back to what our Founding Fathers created it to be. Tall task, yes, but I am not alone in this. There are millions of Americans that have the gut feeling like I do that if we don't do something now our country will be lost forever. I am not willing to allow that to happen. We as parents desire that our kids have a better life then we did. Well, I strongly believe that our kids' lives will be worse then ours if we continue on down this destructive path. I am no longer on the sideline anymore. I don't think you can say I am/was a closet conservative, but I was like many others, who just kept to themselves, and would leave it up to someone else. Not anymore. I am joining up with countless people to let our voices be heard. I don't know where this will lead me or what all this entails, but I know that I can't ignore the feeling that I have in my gut anymore! My children are too precious to me, to see them not be able to live with the same freedoms we have. I don't want my children to have to pay for my mistakes or the mistakes of this country. So they need to be fixed now or that is exactly what is going to happen.

Our country isn't perfect. We aren't perfect as humans so there isn't anything that can be perfect. But we can do our best to make it great. Trust that God will pour out His favor, grace, mercy, forgiveness, and love to cover our shortcomings. God must be the center of this country. He must! Our country is only great because our Founding Fathers knew that God must be involved in our lives. As we see God being removed further out of our lives, you see our country falling, too. Once a country starts seeing the government as "God", you have serious, serious problems.

At the beginning of the year, I felt alone in this. I felt like what can I do? How can I help make people aware of what is really being lost in all of this? What is this really going to cost us in the future? Yes, everyone is worried about the money, but we need to be worried about each person's moral standards. If we don't have God where He is suppose to be we have no moral compass. We start taking over peoples' lives. We start telling them what they can and cannot say, buy, eat, how they spend their time, and so forth. If God wanted robots He would have made us that way. He made us with a free will so we would have the choice to have a relationship with Him or not to. He doesn't force Himself into our lives, so neither should our government. In the past 10 months I have been reading books, reading blogs, websites, watching shows, and supporting/attending the Tea Parties. I am so thankful to know that I am not alone anymore in this. Their are millions of Americans out there that know we are in great need of restoring this Nation. So here are some websites that I have found to be so amazing and wonderful!!!
