Going on 3 days!

Well, Jackson and I are working on our 3rd day of being in the house. Little man has come down with a pretty yucky cold. Even though I have enjoyed all of the snuggling in my lap, I pretty much haven't gotten anything done around here. I feel so sorry for him. His nose runs all day and then as soon as he goes down, he coughs b/c of all the drainage. Last night was a pretty bad night.

He went down about 8:30. At 11:00 I hear him saying Mom, Mom, Mom! By the time I can get myself out of bed he was entering our bedroom. The plan was to head back to his bedroom, but he didn't want that at all! Byron moved to the couch and Jackson got what he wanted. He rolled around for awhile, but couldn't go to sleep. He also kept trying to crawl out of the bed, so I turned on cartoons for him. We have Mickey's twice upon a Christmas recorded. I think we watched it 3 times last night before he was ready to fall asleep!!! He would sleep for an hour and then wake up screaming! I think its b/c he is so tired and he feels so bad. That is the only way he can express that to me. I would place his blanket on my chest, he would lay down, and I would sing Jesus Loves You. Thank you Jesus, singing that song calms him down every time!!! Needless to say, it was a roller coaster of a night on sleeping!

I pray that today he will get good rest and he will be on his way to recovery!!! I doubt we will get out of the house today. Hopefully, tomorrow we can get out and do something!
